Children always want to escape from their parents’ control. But when they really get rid of their annoying parents, they will find out what their parents want is just simple communication of love. (Pittsburgh Global Game Jam 2019)
This is a game jam project that I worked in a group of four in two days as the designer and artist. I made several environment pieces as well as all three main characters and their animations.
There are three levels in this game. The trickiest part for the players is to figure out that their parents' language are getting softened each time they run away from them. And the way to solve the contradictions is facing them directly. So go back home kids!
Spoiler warning: the third level is a infinity loop, the game will end only if the player figure out they need to turn back to face their parents instead of running away from them.
